Prayer Update

Since this trip things have returned to normal...well as normal as it can get
when you live in Africa.

We are scheduled to move from Quelimane
to Nampula on March 1st.
Everyone is so excited to move to their permanent home.
Please pray for the next few weeks as we
say goodbye to friends and places that we love.

Also, pray for me as I prepare to come back
to the USA. I leave in about a month.
Pray that the Lord would continue to prepare my heart and mind as I return.
It is going to be very difficult for me to leave my new home.
I am excited to come back and start the next chapter in my life but
I am also very sad to leave my family and friends.
This journey will forever change me and I wouldn't change anything
about it.

PRAISE! I got my last VISA without any problems! Go God!

Thank you so much for praying me through this journey. I am so very thankful
for each and every person who has supported me,
prayed over me, and sent me out to share the love of Jesus Christ.

I'm coming home soon, have some CFA ready for me!

South Africa For Christmas: Part 5

WELCOME TO THE LION PARK

The last adventure we had in South Africa was the Lion Park!
To celebrate Lilly's ninth birthday, we went to pet and see some lions. We also went on a mini safari!

I was so cool to be able to pet lion cubs and watch the lions eat lunch.
We saw so many African animals and enjoyed watching them in their natural habitat.

I hope you enjoy the pictures...this is my favorite memory of the whole trip!

Love this lady!

I want one so bad, well until they bite your head off. Ha!

I touched a lion cub! No way!

Their paws were the size of a saucer...they were HUGE!

I touched 2 lion cubs! So cool!

Merecats...what do you see?

Ostriches. They aren't African at all.

The leopard in the tree taking a nap.

Giraffe!! So beautiful!

Hyena; up close and personal!

I don't remember the name of this animal
but it is in the cat family.

I am so fascinated by these creatures.

This is what Africa looks like in my mind.

I see you!

Cheeta-licious!

Now onto the lion feeding! This was absolutely the coolest thing I have EVER seen!

The sign said "Keep windows closed at all time."

They even gave us a warning before we entered....

Sheldon didn't listen very well. This picture shows you
what I did the whole time....I had my
head stuck out of the window. I'm a rebel.

It's lunch time in the lion park.

After the truck with the food entered the gate, the lions
chased the truck until it stopped. Tracy was driving our car
and I was yelling at her to follow the lions. We went through
the grass, went over mounds of dirt, and disobeyed
every rule that was enforced for our safety.

This beautiful lioness came right up to our window
with her lunch. So cool!

The alpha male with the leg of some animal.

The two male lions fought over the food.
That was fun to watch!

Brothers and sisters sharing their lunch with each other.

Now it's time for a nap in the cool breeze!

This wraps up our trip to SA.
The rest of the week was spent shopping, eating, and relaxing.
We packed up, headed back to Nelspruit to pick up our truck, then drove 2 more days
to get back to Quelimane.

My Christmas experience is something I will never forget. I made new memories
that will last a life time!
