A Beautiful Day At The Beach

On Sunday we went to a church at the beach called Mundimwe. We had a baptism for the people who were saved and spent time at the beach that afternoon. It was fun to visit the beach for the first time and see just how great our God is. Here are a few pictures of what we did and where we were.

As soon as we pulled up, the people sang and danced for us.
They welcomed us with open arms.
There were a lot of people in a small amount of space.
All the 'Americans' were seated in the front of the church.
This man was not much older than me. Had has a disease called
elephantiasis, which causes swelling and discoloration of the
skin. He feet looked just like an elephant foot.
BACON! HAM! YUMMY! I saw my first pig at the beach.
They don't eat much pig meat here.
Headed to the beach for baptism
Old Portuguese buildings...so beautiful and rustic.
I just love this picture.
I don't think this building is even used anymore.
Coconut trees that have died from diseases. The beach is
right onto of an old coconut farm.

First view of the beach; so gorgeous!!
Indian Ocean behind me. I have been in 3 of the oceans out
of 5. Two to go!
Gathered for baptisms

Life doesn't get any better than this: deserted beach, sun
setting, and a cold Coke!
I felt stranded on an island...it was so cool!

So far away!
God and His beautiful creation
I LOVE MOZAMBIQUE!

I hope you enjoyed these pictures as much as I enjoyed being there!

How great is our God?
