Random Things

The purpose of this blog post is to show you what goes on daily here in Africa. A whole bunch of randomness and craziness! Enjoy!

African watermelon!

Lilly and I devoured the watermelon.

What was left after we were done...not much!

The girls language teacher, Eva, and I coloring
on a rainy day!

Hard at work!

Flora and Lilly, singing in the rain!

This is Flora, my language teacher
and friend! Love her!

Watercolors and trees!

Language learning!

This is what Tracy and Lee do everyday....
study, study, study, and study some more!

Tie-dying t-shirts!

Our friend Hannah! She lives in Zambia and
came to visit the girls.

We had a lot of construction in front
of our house last week.

Typical Tracy

Goofing off with Meghan and Lilly!

This precious one is my favorite!

I put Meg on my back like a true African!

This was taken today: we all wore baby dolls on our backs.
And Emma carried her dog, Ode, instead!
Life is crazy here in Mozambique. There is no "normal" day here. Each day brings new adventures, smiles, and laughs! I am soaking it all in because I will be home before I'm ready!

Love to all!

Sheldon

  2. I would not know what to do with that watermelon! It looks so different! Does it taste different, too? The pics are awesome! I love Lily's tree! Looks like Dr. Seuss! Wish I could visit to see it all!
